William Albert of 160 Hazle Avenue, former Miners Mills resident, died in General Hospital yesterday afternoon. He had been a medical patient there two weeks. Born in Miners Mills, a son of the late Henry and Martha Jones Albert, Mr. Albert resided in Wilkes-Barre the greater part of his life. He was formerly employed at Pine Ridge Colliery, Hudson Coal Company. He leaves sisters, Mrs. Martha M. McCutcheon, Miners Mills, and Mrs. Esther Endress, Wilkes- Barre: brothers. David, Avoca, and Harry, Trucksville; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held from the H. Merritt Hughes Funeral Home, 451 North Main Street, Wednesday at 2 with interment in Pittston Cemetery. Rev. John L. Gilmore of Miner Congregational Church will officiate. Friends may call 7 to 9 p. m.
