Lorraine G. Saxton, age 89, passed away on Wednesday April 5, 2017, in Payson, Utah. She was born on July 26, 1927 in Bluebell, Utah, to Della De Mille and Jesse Marshall Gale. She was later sealed in S.L.C. LDS Temple to Mother Della and John Blake.
She married Elmer Saxton on Oct 2, 1946 in the S.L.C. LDS Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and she was a member of the D.U.P., she loved music and had a beautiful singing voice. She sang with the Singing Mothers in General Conference.
Lorraine has two children; Jean (Rick) Hamilton, Rick, (Roberta) Saxton, nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her son.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 11:00 am at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, SLC., with a viewing one hour prior from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Interment will be at the Lake Hills Memorial Park, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah following services.
