Elmer Saxton, age 89, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2014.
He was born December 24, 1924 near Evanston, Wyoming to Thomas Wright Saxton and Emma Grace Ashton.
He married Lorraine Gale on October 2,1946 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together, they had two children, Jean S. (Ricke D.) Hamilton and Ricky Elmer (Roberta) Saxton. He had twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2014 in the Grandview Ward Chapel, 2930 South 2000 East, Salt Lake City. There will be a viewing held from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m.
Interment: Lake Hills Memorial Park, 10055 South State Street (100 East), Sandy.
