He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, 5 children (Donna Eileene, 15; Gary Lavoid 12; Doris Jeanne 7; Michael and Sara Marie 2), his mother, the following brothers and sisters (Elsie-Mrs. William Nelson; Clarence and Emma-Mrs. Jake Birky, all of Valparaiso, Ind.; Roy, of Bristol; Edwin E., of Elkhart; Harley and Alvin, of Middlebury; Elmer, Ora, Ralph, and Verna-Mrs. John Bickel, all of Goshen; Saide-Mrs. Harold Plank, of Leesburg, Ind.), and a large host of other relatives and friends. On Nov. 10, 1950, he was preceded in death by his father, who was the first to break the family circle. Funeral services were held Jan. 1, at the North Goshen Mennonite Church, where he was a member, with Paul Mininger and Russell Krabill in charge. Burial was made in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
