Leola Plank, 92, of Milford, IN went home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2016 at the IU Goshen Hospital. She was born on August 11, 1923 in Middlebury, IN to Edwin and Lydia (Egli) Miller. On January 31, 1942, she married John Plank. Leola was a Milford resident for over 30 years and prior to that, she spent 32 years in Leesburg and 6 years in Silver Lake. She also wintered in Florida for over 25 years. Leola was a long time member of the New Salem Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Olsen of Warsaw and Karen (Tom) White of Syracuse; one son, Jay Plank of Tulsa, OK; nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

She will be welcomed into everlasting by her husband of 62 years, a daughter, Debra Hobbs; a grandson, Robert Anthony Hobbs; nine brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Mishler Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Milford. A funeral service will be Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Rice officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Grove Cemetery in Middlebury.
