Services for Joseph William Blaylock, 83, who passed away September 26, were held at the home of Herman Taylor on September 27, at two o'clock with the Rev. W. M. Hull, assisted by the Rev. D. A. Harris, conducting the services. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Blaylock was born in Montgomery County on October 8, 1867. On January 7, 1896, he was married to Miss Anna Rose who preceded him in death.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Herman Taylor, Duck Hill; Mrs. L. T. Caddess, and Mrs. Arthur Taylor, Winona; five sons, Dewitt Blaylock, New Orleans, La.; Lamar Blaylock and J. T. Blaylock, Duck Hill; Eugene Blaylock, Holcomb; Leon Blaylock, Winona. He also leaves one brother, Arnold Blaylock of Winona.
