Van Alstyne - Services for George Wade "Billie" Amonett of Houston, 76-year-old retired pipefitter for Shell Oil Company who died Saturday at his residence, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Ed Adams will officiate, and burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Mr. Amonett was born in Texas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. P.M. Amonett, and was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving is his sister, Jimmie Arrington of Van Alstyne.
Pallbearers are Floyd Carter, A.V. Whitehead, Garland Ballard, Joe Elliott, Ted Austin and Bailey Harris.
The family will be at the Jimmie Arrington residence.
