Woman of 82 had many descendants.
Ten Children, 39 Grandchildren, 36 Great-grandchildren, and 1 Great-great-grandchild Survive.
Mrs. Mary Loverdige Hahn, 82 years old, died at the home of her son, M. A. Hahn, on North Dewey street, at 7 o'clock this morning. Her death was caused by paralysis. She will be buried at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
Short funeral services will be held at the residence of M. A. Hahn and will be conducted by Elder Moore of the Primitive Baptist Church, Clarksdale. The body will then be taken to Orrsburg, where funeral services will be held at the Orrsburg Church. Interment will be made in the Orrsburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Hahn was born in Somersetshire, near Taunton, England. She came with her parents to New York when 4 years old. She was married to Moses Hahn in 1851, and together they came to Nodaway County. They have lived in the county thirty-seven years and in the vicinity of Maryville for about twenty years.
Her husband died fourteen years ago.
She leaves ten children, thirty-nine grandchildren, thirty-six Great-grandchildren, and one Great-great-grandchild. Her children are: Mrs. Abigail Cummings, British Columbia; Mrs. Albert Melton, Valentine, Neb.; O. W. Hahn, Lincoln, Nebr.; Mrs. A. D. Simmons, St. Joseph; Mrs. Emily Simmons, Greenbush, Ill.; Mrs. J. C. Simmons, Orrsburg; Mrs. Lucetta Carmichael, Maryville; Mrs. Henry L. Foster, Maryville; Mrs. J. A. Mapes, Harve, Mont., and M. A. Hahn of Maryville. Two brothers also survive her. They are Newton Loveridge of Weston, Ore., and Albert Loveridge of California.
