Son of Moses Hahn and Mary Loveridge Hahn. He married Alberta "Bird" Howard November 29, 1894 in Maryville, Missouri. Their children: Fannie, Clement, Alberta, Gladys, Myrtle, Maxine, died at the age of 4, Harlan, who died in infancy, Ralph, and Moses Jr.

MOSES A. HAHN Dies;

The body of Moses A. Hahn, formerly of Maryville, who died at 2:15 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Gladys Chalfant of Madera, California, will arrive in Maryville Monday night.
He was born February 15, 1871, in Knox County, Illinois, and came to this county as a child and lived here until 1929, when he moved to California, where he resided until his death. He was a contractor here for a number of years and visited here a year ago.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alberta Hahn; four daughters, Mrs. Ira Fantz, Del Rey, California; Mrs. Alberta Hilton, Winnebago, Illinois; Mrs. Gladys Chalfant, Madera, California, and Mrs. Myrtle Whaley, Maryville; three sons, C. B. Hahn, Maryville; Ralph Hahn, Chowchilla, California, and M. A. Hahn, Jr., Madera, California; four sisters, Mrs. Abigail Cummins, Puyallup, Washington; Mrs. Hannah Melton, Valentine, Nebraska, Mrs. Henry L. Foster, Maryville, and Mrs. Gertrude Mapes, Harve, Montana; one brother, Otis Hahn, Burlington, Wisconsin, and twenty grandchildren. Two children preceded him in death. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
