YORKTOWN--Mrs. Mary Ellen Brown, 91, of Yorktown, died Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. William E. Penn, of Yorktown.
She was the widow of Capt. W. C. Brown, of Perrin. She had been a resident of Perrin most of her life.
Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. C. A. Diggs, of Newport News; Mrs. V. F. Haywood, of Perrin, and Miss Lesbia L. Brown, of Chester, and a son, E. R. Brown of
Perrin.
The Rev. Charles Jones, pastor of Union Baptist Church, Achilles, assisted by the Rev. George M. Kissenger III, will conduct a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at
Gloucester Point Cemetery in Gloucester. The body is at Amory Funeral Home in Grafton.
Pallbearers will be W. T. Dawson, G. C. Clark, G. A. Kable, J. D. Radcliffe, R. L. Poole, M. H. Riggins Jr., M. C. Shackelford, and R. E. E. Thomas.
