A WWII Veteran he served as a Corporal in the Army Air Corps and was recipient of the American Theater Campaign Ribbon and Victory Medal. He worked at the Portsmouth, NH Naval Shipyard for 32 years. He was a member of the Kingston VFW. He is survived by his wife Margaret E. (Perreault) Blackburn, a son, and daughter.
