I started getting interested in genealogy in about 2000. I thought my family tree was a "bamboo" tree. Both of my parents were only children, therefore I have no aunts, uncles or cousins. I have been pleasantly surprised by how large my family actually is. Every person I have listed is somehow related to myself or my wife, either directly or through marriage.
