Catherine Frank (1771-1842), daughter of Johann Wilhelm Frank and Barbara Walk Frank, is often confused with her younger sister, Sarah Frank (c1776-p1850), who married Jonathan Walk (1769-1835), and combining their names as Sarah Catherine Frank Walk.

Catherine Frank (1761-1842) never left Davidson County, and died unmarried. Sarah married Jonathan Walk (1769-1835) on 28 Nov 1795 at Rowan (in the part that became Davidson?) County, North Carolina, moved to Pike County, Illinois and had eleven children.
