Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Winterrowd-Hagi Funeral Home in Streator. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Richard Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
She was born May 27, 1943 in Streator, a daughter of Edward Sr. and Betty Jane (Fechter) Munson. She married Donald Godfrey Sr. in 1964. She then married Ronald Atchley on December 30, 1993. He survives.
Also surviving are a son: Donald Godfrey Jr. of Streator; a daughter: Kathie (Mike) Keller of Louisiana; a granddaughter; her stepmother: Ellen Munson of Streator; brothers: Edward Munson Jr. of Streator, Shaun Munson of Mississippi, Leon Kerr and Barry Gribble, both of Missouri, and Darryl Kerr of Oklahoma; and sisters: Carol Abbey of Streator, Kim Staley of Lostant, Karla Pollett of Bloomington, Pam Harrington of Missouri and Verna Howell of Kansas City, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers: Ronald and Randy Munson.
She was last employed at Pit Stop South for the past six years.
She attended Streator High School.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
