Surviving are his parents; two brothers: Edward Munson Jr. of Streator and Shawn Munson of Macomb, Miss.; four sisters: Dorothy (Robert) Duvall, Carol (David) Abbey and Kimberly (James) Stahly, all of Streator, and Karla Pollett of Normal; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for two years and was a member of St. Stephen's Church and Streator Laborers Local 82.
