William served in the 1st WW. In 1930 he married Stella Carpeck in Southbridge, Ma. The following year a son William Henry, Jr. was born Stella remarried and William Jr. became known as William Henry Giroux( #49189567), taking the stepfather's surname.
William Sr. was 1st married to Louise Perham in 1915 and they had a son James William Smth who grew up and lived in the Syracuse area where he raised a family.
