Graveside services and burial will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 21,2020 at the Loraine Cemetery in Loraine, IL. Brother Gregg Koelliker will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of the James O’Donnell Funeral Home of Hannibal, MO.
Mary was born October 31, 1927, to Hurley Brown and Sylvia Deverger Brown.
She was married to Robert "Bob" Poling on August 21, 1948 in Hannibal, MO. He preceded her in death on May 8, 2019.
Survivors include 2 sons Robert Failor of New London, MO. and Steven R. Poling ( daughter in law, Pamela) of Liberty. MO, 9 grandchildren,11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons, David and William, 1 daughter, Brenda and 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Professionally Mary worked as an assembly line worker for the Motorola Company in Quincy, IL for over 20 years. Mary loved to travel and visited many places in the United States. She loved to volunteer and was very passionate about working with children.
Mary was a Christian by faith.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Diabetes Research.
