On December 10, 1905, she was united in marriage to Charles Davis of Houston. To this union nine children were born.
She is survived by two sons, Willard of Mtn. Grove, Mo. and Chester of Grandview, Mo., five daughters, Mrs. Eula Hays and Mrs. Ruth Tappero, both of Houston, Mrs. Allie Barton of Baltimore, Maryland, Mrs. Lulu Belle Kershner of Denver, Colorado and Mrs. Wanda Jean Hays of Colorado Springs, Colo. Her husband and two sons, Wayne and Wesley, preceded her in death. She is also survived by one brother, Churchill Wallace of Houston, and three sisters, Mrs. Florence Sellers and Mrs. Pearl Birkhead both of Houston and Mrs. Theta Freese of Boonville, Mo., 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 28, at the First Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. John Matthews officiated and burial was in the Pine Lawn Cemetery.
