Kevin W. Ivy, 44, of 409 Beachwood Drive, Galion, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, after a two day illness.

Born July 8, 1963 in Mt. Vernon, Ill., he was the son of Raymond Ivy and Venita Kay Duffner Ivy of Galion. He married Michele L. Wireman Ivy on July 15, 1986 and she survives.

He was a member of the Christian Life Center in Mansfield. He enjoyed building models of planes, trains and automobiles. He was a history buff, especially of the Civil War and enjoyed spreading the word of God. He worked as a merchandiser for Coke in Mansfield and at Pillsbury in Martel.

Surviving are his three sons, all of Galion; and two brothers and sisters-in-law; one sister and brother-in-law and one sister-in-law.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kendall Ivy I and Kendall Ivy II.

Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007 at Christian Life Center, 961 Springmill Road/State Route 39, Mansfield, OH 44906 where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6 with Pastor Gary W. Hunt and Pastor Mark Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
