He was born on April 8, 1931 in Cook County/Chicago, IL to the late Joseph S. Bristow and Frances Perry Bristow.
George served in the United States Army while the Korean Conflict was going on.
He also was the owner and operator of a TV repair shop and an electronics engineer.
George loved the outdoors, the nature and enjoyed walking and hiking. More importantly, he loved his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Bristow (Alex Zaluzhuyy) of Arden, NC and Rebecca Bristow Horning of Corvallis, OR; his grandchildren, Melissa Radatz, Mathew Horning, and Andrew Horning; and his seven great grandchildren.
