Frances G. Bristow
Mrs. Frances G. Bristow, 71, of 505 W. Belmont, Chicago, died Dec. 6, 1974 at her home.
She was born Nov. 2, 1903 in Arkansas, to Francis H. and Millie [Cloff] Perry. She married J. Sidney Bristow in Moline in 1928. She was a member of the Broadway Methodist Church, Chicago and a member of the senior citizens group of the church. She was also on the board of Directors for Hull House.
She is survived by one son, George Bristow, California; one daughter, Mrs. George [Rita] Holderness, rural DeKalb; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Navarre Perry, Missouri; Herbert Perry, Amarillo, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Elsie A. Barrett, Lincoln, Neb. and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Wirtz-Roche-Smith Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec 9. The Rev. Martin Ceynar will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, DeKalb. There will be no visitation.
