He was born July 24, 1892, in Valley Township, Stark County, the son of William and Margaret Bailey Ogburn. He married Mabel Campbell, who survives, along with two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Elliott of Caldwell, Ohio, and Mrs. Argyle (Veryl) Sloan of Dunlap; and one brother, Clarence of Kewanee.
One son, seven brothers, and four sisters preceded him in death.
Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery.
