Waldo Vern Anyan, 56, died Saturday in a local hospital. He was a truckdriver for the Colville Garage in Reardan and lived in Reardan all of his life. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Anyan belonged to the Reardan Lion's Club and the James S. McCutcheon American Legion Post of Reardan. He is survived by five sisters and seven brothers: Mrs. Emma Jo Miller, here; Mrs. Gladys Jones, Reardan; Mrs. Jean M. Loomis, Tacoma; Mrs. Hazel Johnson, Carmichael, Calif.; Roy, Glen, Dean and George Anyan, here; Merle Anyan, Edwall, Wash.; Harry Anyan, Reardan, Wash.; Everett Anyan, Lincoln, Wash., and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, with the Rev. Philip Falk officiating. Burial will be in Reardan, Wash. [Spokesman Review; 12.29.1969; p.6]
