Funeral services were held Monday, January 2, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Dr. Bill Woodson officiating. Graveside services and interment will be Thursday, January 5, 2012 in the Rose Hill Burial Park in Springfield, Ohio.
Mr. Hoke was born in Clark County, Ohio and retired as plant manager with Automatic Sprinkler. He was a member of the Swainsboro Kiwanis Club, served as president of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and as president of the Springfield Management Club in Springfield, Ohio. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dawn Renee Hoke; his parents, Jeremiah Walter and Rhoda Crest Hoke; two sisters, Roberta Artz, Christina Kress; and a brother, Walter M. Hoke.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Anderson Hoke of Swainsboro; one son, Dean Hoke of Abu Dhabi, UAE; three step-daughters, Diane Davis of Lawrenceville, Ga., Dawn Patrick of Dunwoody, Ga. and Delaine Dalzell of N. Augusta, S.C; one Sister, Barbara Stanfield of New Carlisle, Ohio; and grandson, Andrew Hoke.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made of to the Calvary United Methodist Church Building Fund, Swainsboro, GA.
