Rev. Maurice Holt officiated at the services in the Methodist church (sic). Russel Reeve, Clem Reeve, Harry Shaw, Arbor Ferebee, Vic Crandell and Lloyd Bargen were pall bearers.
Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery and the Klawitter Funeral Home have charge of the arrangements.

Violet Adrian Powell, daughter of George and Martha Adrian, was born near Nora, December 28, 1887, and departed this life on November 1, at Brodstone Memorial Hospital, Superior. She joined the Methodist Church at Nora in January 1903, later transferring her membership to Nelson.
She was united in marriage to John C. Powell on December 28, 1909 and to this union four daughters were born: Mrs. Opal Benedict, Mrs. Daisy Farver, Mrs. Arlene Roseboom, and Mrs. Ardis Dillman. Mrs. Powell's main interests in life were her family, lodge and church work, having taught Sunday School for several years. Beside her four daughters, seven grandchildren, she is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Myrtle Hoag, Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Annie Sherman, Blue Rapids, Kans., and Miss Edna Adrian, Nelson; three brothers, Glenn Adrian of Dodge City, Kans., and Sidney and Wayne Adrian of Wichita, Kans. Her parents, husband and two brothers preceded her in death.
Pallbearers for the service were Russel Reeve, Clem Reeve, Harry Shaw, Arbor Ferebee, Vic Crandell and Lloyd Bargen.
