Ernest Marvin Tucker, 75, Oil Trough died Monday in Newport. He was a member of the Oil Trough Baptist Church & a retired machinist. Survivors include his wife, Leora Burrow Tucker of Oil Trough; a daughter, Naomi Palmer of Wichita, Kansas; 5 brothers, Morris Tucker of Steelville, Mo., Clarence Tucker & Gerald Tucker of Oil Trough, Mack Tucker of Independence, Mo, & Bobby Joe Tucker of Fling, Michigan; a sister, Nadine Burge of Batesville; 3 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the White River Baptist Church in Oil Trough with the Rev. Thurl Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Kyler Cemetery in Southside under the direction of Dillinger Funeral Home of Newport.
