He was born on September 16, 1926 in Rosie, Arkansas to Robert and Bessie Tucker.
Gerald was baptized and gave his life to God. He loved going to church with his daughter, Jennifer. For several years he was over the Water Department in Oil Trough. He enjoyed spending time visiting with friends at the stores in town. He liked fishing on the White River in Oil Trough, watching sports on T.V. and farming.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Richardson (Bruce) of Newport; two brothers, Clarence Tucker of Batesville and Mack Tucker (Linda) of Bella Vista.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Morris Tucker, Bob Ewing Tucker, Earnest Tucker, and Bobby Tucker; as well as one sister, Nadine Burge.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Roller-Crouch Chapel in Batesville with Neil Burge officiating. Burial will follow at Kyler Cemetery.
