The Rev. Morris Lee Tucker, 79, of Steeleville, Missouri, died March 14, at his home. He was the son of the late Robert & Bessie Young Tucker & was born August 8, 1909 in Rosie. He married Raye Prater at Batesville on June 30, 1934. She preceded him in death on December 7, 1965. He married Hester Glenn at St. Louis, Missouri, on April 8, 1966. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a son, Don tucker, 2 brothers, Ernest Tucker & Euin Tucker; and a stepdaughter. Survivors besides his wife include 2 daughters, Dixie Stahr of St. Louis & Elaine Skiles of Springfield, Missouri; a son, Rex Tucker of St. Louis; a stepdaughter, Judy Moss of Malden, Missouri; a sister, Nadine Burge of Batesville; 4 brothers, Clarence Tucker & Gerald Tucker, both of Oil Trough, Mac Tucker of Kansas City, Missouri & Bobby Tucker of Flint, Michigan; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; & several nieces & nephews. Tucker had been a minister with the Freewill Baptist denomination since 1955. He was retired from McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft of St. Louis. At the time of his sickness & death he was attending & involved in the ministry of the 1st Baptist Church of Steeleville. Funeral services were March 17 at the Britton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dal Skiles officiating. Visitation was March 18 at the Maple Springs Baptist Church near Oil Trough.
