Services for Bonnie Anderson Forkum, 89, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Anderson -Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in Jackson County, Tennessee. She passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019, at the Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro. She was born on February 7, 1930, to the late
James Bedford Anderson and Lola B. Loftis Anderson. On June 30, 1956, she was married to the late Shelby W. Forkum, who passed away December 30, 2018. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Willow Avenue Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded indeath by 3 Brothers: Herman, Elbert, and Fred Anderson; and 3 Sisters: Doyle Anderson, Virdia Spurlock, and Dona L. Anderson. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Denise (Ron) Cantrell of Putnam County; 2 Brothers: James Carl Anderson and Clarence Anderson, both of Jackson County, Tennessee; and 1 Sister in Law: Kathleen Smoliga of Franklin County, Tennessee. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
