Clarence was the son of James Bedford and Lola Betty Loftis Anderson. He was former Agriculture Teacher at Jackson County High School and also a teacher for the Adult Education Program in Jackson County. He was a graduate of Tennessee Tech University and a captain in the Tennessee National Guard.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Herman C. Anderson, Elbert C. Anderson and Fred T. Anderson; four sisters, Virdia Spurlock, Doyle Anderson, Dona L. Anderson and Bonnie Forkum.
Survivors include his son, Randall Wayne Anderson of Gainesboro, daughter, Sherry Anderson of Estill Springs and brother, Carl Anderson of Gainesboro. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 11, 2021 from 10 am to 1 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro with the funeral service to begin at 1 pm with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Rash Cemetery.
