Robert Nelson Hall, 66, a resident of Davenport for 42 years, died Thursday, November 23, 1944, following a brief illness.

He was born to Abram M and Rhoda (Schneider) Hall on April 14, 1878, in Wheatland, Iowa, received his education in schools there, and was married to Carrie Emma Schiesser on June 26, 1898, in Rock Island, Illinois. After her death in 1937, Mr. Hall married Pearl Blocker on May 13, 1940.

Surviving are his wife; three sisters – Mrs. Frank Grouell, Davenport, Mrs. James Spence, Clinton, and Mrs. Lenora Hollister, Bremerton, Washington; and one brother - Lorado T Hall, Davenport.

Funeral services were held in the Runge Chapel with the Rev. Alfred Nickless officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Princeton.
