Mrs. Grouell was a member of First Presbyterian Church, was active in the Ladies Guild of the church, and was affiliated with the Davenport Woman’s Club, the Ladies of the GAR, the Parent-Teacher Association of Lincoln School, and the YWCA.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Beryl Grouell, Davenport; two sisters, Mrs. Lenore Hollister and Mrs. J. H. (Josephine) Spence, both of Clinton; and a brother, Loredo T. Hall, Davenport. Services were at Horrigan Funeral Home with the Rev. Asa Ferry officiating and burial took place in Memorial Park.
