Francis (sic) Bargen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bargen, died March 23rd at seven o'clock a.m. and was buried at 6 p.m. the same day. On account of the nature of the disease (diphtheria) the funeral was strictly private. Rev. Gundel officiated. All other members of the family who were also sick, are much improved and out of danger. Francis (sic) was 5 years, 5 months and 23 days old. She was the sunshine of the house and her sudden death brought deep grief over all who loved her, and the only consolation is to know her safe in the blessed hands of Jesus.
