Frances Marie Smith, age 83, was born March 11, 1935 in Hamilton, Kansas, to Johner Nathaniel and Edith (Bohard) McCoy. She passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.
Frances graduated from Virgil High School with the Class of 1953.
Frances was married October 19, 1953 to Dale Leon Smith and to this union two children were born.
She is survived by her children; five grandchildren-Donnie, David, Daniel, Adam, Carisa; ten great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 11, 2019 at Koup Family Funeral Home in Eureka, Kansas. Interment was in the Virgil Cemetery.
