Norma Pauline Cowin 1928 –2019 passed away of natural causes on May 11, 2019 at the age of 90. Born June 29, 1928 in Park City, Utah, to Alma Henry and Jennie Wheeler Pedersen, she graduated from good old Park City High School. She married Robert Joseph Cowin and raised their family in Park City, Utah. Mom was smart, loving and was as compassionate a person, as could be found. She was a wonderful wife, mother, (great, great) grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. More than her children considered her mom.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Dorothy (Roger) Crandall, son, Marty (Kelli) Cowin, (2) sisters, Donna Alvey & Ethel (Tom) Dudley, (5) grandchildren, (7) great-grandchildren, and (2) great-great-grandchildren. She loved to bowl, paint, put puzzles together, reminisce about “Old Park City” and most of all, spend time with her family. She gave to all that knew and loved her. The world is a far better place because she spent time here. Mom and her positive influence will continue and live on through those she touched.

Norma is preceded in death by her husband Robert, son, Robert (Bobby), daughter Rebecca; grandson Jeffery, five brothers; Pete, Ray, Monroe, Rex and Clarence & four sisters; Ruth, Lola, Betty & Carrol. Our family wishes to express our heartfelt thanks to all of Norma’s friends and neighbors who have helped and supported her throughout the years and through these latter tender times.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 18, 2019 at the Heber Valley Funeral Home, located at 288 North Main Street, Heber City, Utah. Friends may bid their farewell at the viewing prior to the funeral service from 11:30am – 12:45pm. The funeral service will follow the viewing at 12:45pm. Interment will follow the services in the Heber City Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to probstfamilyfunerals.com.
