Mrs. G. S. Hatch Dies
Of Pneumonia at Her
Home in Bountiful
Mrs. Ellen Moss Hatch, 76, died Wednesday at her home in South Bountiful of pneumonia, a month to the day, after her husband G. S. Hatch, passed away.
Mrs. Hatch was born in Bountiful, June 3, 1862, a daughter of John and Rebecca Wood Moss. She had lived in Bountiful all her life and was active in the Relief society where she served for 35 years as visiting teacher. She was married October 3, 1883, in the Endowment house in Salt Lake City.
Surviving are six daughters and two sons; Mrs. Charles M. Egan, Mrs. Edith Haacke, Mrs. Stanley S. Haacke, Mrs. Walter H. Barber, Lawrence M. Hatch and Reed M. Hatch of Woods Cross; Mrs. Frederick Muir, Seattle Wash., and Mrs. Leland H. Sessions, Bountiful; four brothers and one sister David A. Moss, Stephen Moss and Mrs. E. R. Grant, Woods Cross; Alexander Moss, Randolph, and Robert A. Moss, Salt Lake; 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. in the South Bountiful chapel, with Bishop Walter Moss officiating. Interment will be in the Bountiful cemetery.
