Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. today for Mrs. Maggie Cole, 85, at the Lock [sic Loch] Arbor Baptist Church in Swartz. The Revs. James Strittman and Thurman Davis officiated.
Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Homes.
Mrs. Cole died Saturday evening at the Hickory Manor Nursing Home in Bastrop following a long illness.
Her survivors are one son, W. Ray Cole, Swartz; three daughters, Mrs. Earl L. Barron and Mrs. Roy Ebgar [sic Edgar], both of Swartz, and Mrs. J. B. Blauvelt, Minden; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
