Funeral services for Albert E. Cole, 80, of Swartz, were held at 3 p.m. today at Loch Arbor Baptist Church with the Rev. James L. Strittman officiating.
Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe.
Pallbearers were James Perry, David Richardson, Harold Linzay, Ernest Gewin, Joe Jinks and Frank Murphy.
Mr. Cole was a member of the Loch Arbor Baptist Church and a charter member of the Walker George Masonic Lodge No. 467 of Swartz.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Maggie Cole, Swartz; one son, W. R. Cole, Swartz; three daughters, Mrs. E. L. Barron and Mrs. Roy Edgar, both of Swartz; Mrs. J. V. Blauvelt of Minden; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
