Died 10:05 a.m. Friday, June 14, 1991, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 69, a native of Gonzales and resident of Baton Rouge. She was a secretary with Department of Transportation and Development. Visiting at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel, 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday, with recitation of rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday, and 8 to 10 a.m. Monday. Religious services at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Monday, conducted by Father Jack Nutter. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by husband, Walter Carbo, Baton Rouge; mother, Hazel B. Braud, Baton Rouge; three sisters, Robbie B. Kornrumpf, Baton Rouge, Zilphia B. Fontenot, Baton Rouge, and Lois B. Herbez, Harvey; three brothers, Shelton J. Braud, Marksville, Leon P. Braud, Baton Rouge, and Neelis W. Braud, Fort Payne, Ala.; numerous nieces; and nephews. Preceded in death by father, Emile Braud. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, where she was active in Legion of Mary and Altar Society.
