A retired pipefitter with Exxon Co. USA with 40 years of service and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Monday, March 22, 2004, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 92 and a native of Brusly McCall. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2004. Visiting in the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 25, 2004, conducted by Deacon Peter Walsh of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Alvern Braud Carbo; parents, Augustin and Ophelia Loland Carbo; two brothers, Willie Carbo and Clarence Carbo; and five sisters, Julia Diez, Laura LeBlanc, Laurina Carbo, Ophelia Diez and Milda Carbo Falcon. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and Exxon Annuitant Club.
