Hazel Bernice Lamb Beals, 85, passed away April 15, 2000

The daughter of Bryce Forest and Veva Margaret Leonard Lamb, She was born May 12, 1914 in Nespelem, Washington.

Hazel was a member of the LDS Church, serving three LDS missions and Relief Society president for the Redwood Road Ward in the Chesterfield area for three years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Thomas Beals Sr.; a son, James Curtis Beals; and a daughter, Vienna Kaartinen.

She is survived by children: Mrs. Rex (Vianne) Nielsen, Linda Armstrong, Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Martinez, Gordon Beals, Mrs. Roger (Hazel) Williams, Mrs. James (Georgianna) Hunter; 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; a brother, A.C. "Buddy" Bryan.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Hazen Nursing Home for the kindness and loving care shown to our mother.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday April 20, 2000 in the Jordan View LDS Church, 2320 S. 1165 W. West Valley under the direction of Memorial Estates Mortuaries. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Rd.
