Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Ann McDaniel will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Hopewell Baptist Church, Plainview, with Reverend Alfred Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Oakhill Cemetery, Oakdale, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. McDaniel, 83, of Plainview, entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 29, 2018, in her residence with her loving family by her side.
She loved fishing and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Romelzy and Blanchy Willis; her loving husband, Raymond Jesse McDaniel; three sisters, Mae Strother, Minnie Paul and Sarah Jane McDaniel and three brothers, Vernon “Rat” Willis, Memphis Willis and Dan Willis.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include four sons, Curtis McDaniel, Ronnie McDaniel and his wife, Naomi, Jim McDaniel and his wife Era Lee and Delford McDaniel, all of Plainview; one brother, Mason Willis and his wife, Maggie, of Plainview; one sister, Margaret Strother, of Plainview; eight grandchildren, Rocky McDaniel, Dustin Friday, Bubba McDaniel, Kasey McDaniel, Cody McDaniel, Kory McDaniel, Summer McDaniel and Jackson McDaniel; twenty-one great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
