Leyba, 87, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque.
Fr. Jorge Vargas will officiate the services, with interment to follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of Grace. A rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the church.
Agripina was a longtime Artesia resident.
On July 31, 1955, she married Timoteo Leyba Sr. in Artesia.
Agripina was a homemaker and loved all that entailed providing for and loving on her family.
Survivors include her husband, Timoteo Leyba Sr., of the family home; daughter Maggie Leyba-Gomes of Artesia; son Tim Leyba Jr. of Carlsbad; sisters Mary Rubio and Rosa Aguilar, both of Artesia, and Grace Lopez of Ruidoso; brothers Lupe Marquez of Artesia, Henry Marquez of Jemez Springs, and Jose Marquez of Espanola; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Belinda Leyba-Vargas; and brothers Jesus Marquez Jr. and Oscar Marquez.
