Connie worked for McNeese State University as a switch board operator for 20 years. She was a mother, a homemaker, and later loved being a Sunday School teacher for Twelfth Street Baptist Church and later for East Ridge Baptist Church.
Connie is survived by her son, Wayne Mouhot and his wife Corinne Jackson Mouhot of Houston, TX; her ex daughter in law, Susan Fontenot Ash (Don) of Westlake; grandchildren, Charles E. Mouhot of Lake Charles and Jennifer M. McWilliams of Sulphur (Jesse of DeRidder); step granddaughter, Kayla T. Brown of Scott Air Force Base, IL (Dominic of Laccasine); and three great grandchildren.
Connie was preceded in death by her son, William Rhett Mouhot; and her husband, Earnest Mouhot, Jr.
Her funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 2 PM. The Reverend Alan Weishampel will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery.
