Mrs. Catherine Elizabeth Martin, 64, of Magee, died June 6 at the Magee General Hospital after a brief illness.
Services were held Saturday at 10 a.m., from the Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating were Rev. Wardell Kennedy, Rev. Walter Gurley and Rev. C. M. Grayson.
Burial was in the Magee cemetery.
Mrs. Martin was born in Simpson County on Aug. 3, 1904. She was a member of Goshen Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Lessie Martin, Magee; five sons, Bounds Martin, Ervin, Tex., Herman Martin, Ulysses Martin, Magee, Tillman Martin, Joe Martin, Jackson; three daughters, Mrs. Russell Bradford, Gulfport, Mrs. Jack McPherson, Ocean Springs, Mrs. John H. Barnard, Magee; 20 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; one brother, Allen Overby, Jackson.
