Betty Ann Berhorst, age 85, of Canton, MO passed away, Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 1:45 a.m. at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

Betty was born September 3, 1933 in Quincy a daughter of Thomas S. and Gladys L. Littleton Emery. She married Frank Thomas John Berhorst on October 22, 1949. He passed away April 20, 2013.

Betty enjoyed playing cards, counted cross-stitch, embroidering and jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Canton.

Survivors include seven children, Kathy(Charles) Bringer of Lewistown, Norma Bringer of Ewing, Becky(Tracy) Howlett of LaGrange, Mary(Jeff) Fish of Ewing, Pat(Chuck) Feldkamp of Ewing, David(Joy) Berhorst of LaGrange and Barb(Mike) Bronestine of Ewing; daughter in law Vickie Berhorst of Lewistown, MO; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; four brothers, Dale Emery of Mendon, IL, Jim (Jean) Emery of Tremont, IL, Donnie (Beverly) Emery of La Grange and Ronnie (Debbie) Emery of Midland, MI; two brothers in law, Fred (Sharon) Berhorst of Quincy and Lee (Naydene) Berhorst of Canton; one sister in law, Matilda Frances of Albert Lee, MN also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Mike Berhorst, four brothers Bob, Marion, Kenny and Clifford Emery, two grandchildren, Tammy Jo and Carroll Wayne Bringer and one great grandson Landon Michael Lee Berhorst.

Graveside services and burial will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Forest Grove Cemetery in Canton with Sr. Jane Weisgram, SSND. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. in the Davis Funeral Home in Canton.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Lewis County Health Dept. or to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
