Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Snoddy Church, with burial in Snoddy Cemetery. The Rev. C. A. Garst, Danville, and the Rev. Mr. Crow, Cates, will officiate and the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home will be in charge of burial. The body will remain at the funeral home until the funeral hour.
Mrs. Brewer was born February 5, 1874, daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Clifton Ashmore. She was married in 1907 to Ross Brewer. She was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church near Ridgefarm.
Surviving besides her husband are four sisters, Mrs. Lillian Tarrant of Catlin, Miss Addie Ashmore of Kankakee, Mrs. Rose Sollars of Arcola and Mrs. Bertha Campbell of Danville; two brothers, Wesley of Danville and James of Chicago." - Commercial News
