Services for Miss Ada Grace Epler, 74, of 714 E. Church St. will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Deming-Thomas Mortuary. Rev. Robert J. Elliott will officiate.
Miss Epler, a former teacher in the Marion City Schools system, died in Marion General Hospital at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday after a five-week illness.
Born Aug. 25, 1897, in Cambridge, she was a daughter of John W. and Minnie Ross Epler. A graduate of Ohio Northern University at Ada, she came here to teach in 1934, from Worthington.
She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Retired Teachers Association, Quest Club and Business and Professional Women's Club.
Surviving are two sisters, Miss Irene Epler of the E. Church Street address, also a retired teacher, and Mrs. Jewel Hanna of 372 E. Church St. and a brother, G. L. Epler of Centerburg.
Burial will be in Marion Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
