Mrs. Minnie Ross Epler, 89, wife of John W. Epler of 714 E. Church St., died at 4 a.m. today at home. She was ill four months. A Marion resident 23 years, she came here from Worthington.
Born Nov. 24, 1867, in Cambridge, O., she was the daughter of Finley D. and Keziah Workman Blackburn. Her marriage was in 1891 at Cambridge.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Misses Irene and Grace Epler, both at home and Mrs. Jewel Hanna of 205 1/2 Cummins Ave.; a son, Guy Epler of Centerburg; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and a brother Emmett Blackburn of Cambridge.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Merle H. Hughes Mortuary on Mt. Vernon Ave. Rev. Irvin W. Emmons will officiate. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Sunday.
