Boswell. Funeral services for Carroll D. Boswell, 55, 2122 2nd Street are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at McKown Funeral Chapel, Rev. Roy Anderson officiating. Mr. Boswell died Wednesday at the Grand Island Veterans Hospital.
The body will lie in state after 1 p.m. Friday at McKown Funeral home. Burial will be in the Columbus Cemetery.
Son of John D. and Ethel (Warnick) Boswell, he was born April 30, 1921 in Columbus. He attended Columbus City Schools and was a section worker for U.P. railroad.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Edward (Lucille) Kubicek of Columbus; three brothers, John L. and Robert of Columbus, Leonard of Platte Center, and 15 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister in infancy.
